I know-- and yes, they are delicious. Cacao Atlanta Chocolate Co. is an upscale chocolate shop that serves a number of hot and cold drinks, chocolate treats, cakes and French macarons. Although there is a wide selection befitting for any sweet tooth, I always dive straight for the macarons. They are divine.
Pictured above are lavender-orange (purple), raspberry (pink), and pistachio- cherry (green) flavored macarons. They were $2 a piece and, for an additional 50 cents, you can get yours dipped in chocolate!

Why do we love them? They are just right! Each cookie is light, with a bit of crunch on the outside and the perfect amount of ganache softening the inside. As you bite into it, the macaroon would stay intact-- ready for you to finish it off. It was sweet, but not too sweet-- just the way we like it!
